These Terms of Service govern your use of joinstelo.com and the Stelo platform, operated by Stelo Inc.. By using the platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

Stelo is a technology platform for selling a home for a flat fee instead of a percentage commission. Stelo is not a real estate brokerage and does not provide brokerage services, legal advice, tax advice, financial advice or appraisals.

Licensed real estate services are provided by independent licensed partner agents, who are not employees of Stelo. Home values, comparable sales, commission comparisons and savings figures shown on the platform are automated estimates for illustration. They are not appraisals, offers, guarantees or quotes, and they do not commit Stelo, any partner agent or any buyer to any price or amount.

Savings figures compare a Stelo plan against an assumed conventional commission rate. Your actual costs depend on your listing agreement, the plan you choose, any buyer-side compensation you agree to, and third-party closing costs. A licensed partner agent will review the specifics with you.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You agree to give accurate information and to keep it current, and you are responsible for activity under your account.

We verify accounts with a one-time code sent by email or text message. Do not share that code. Tell us promptly at hello@steloestate.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Program description. Stelo sends one-time verification codes to confirm your identity when you sign in or verify a request. Messages are transactional and are sent only in direct response to an action you take.

How to opt in. Enter your mobile number on our form and check the consent box. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency varies and depends on how often you sign in or make a request. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@steloestate.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Supported carriers include the major US wireless carriers. Your mobile information is handled as described in our privacy policy and is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.

Fees for Stelo plans are described on the pricing pages and in the agreement you sign before your home is listed. Third-party closing costs, title, escrow and any compensation you choose to offer a buyer's agent are separate and are not Stelo fees.

Do not use the platform to break the law; to infringe anyone's rights; to post false, misleading or discriminatory listing content; to scrape, overload or interfere with the service; or to attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.

Listings must comply with fair housing law. Content that expresses a preference, limitation or discrimination based on a protected characteristic is prohibited and will be removed.

You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions and other content you provide. You grant Stelo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute that content in order to operate and market the platform and your listing, including syndication to listing services and partner sites.

You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload and that it is accurate.

Some features use artificial intelligence to draft content and answer questions. Output can be wrong or incomplete, is informational only, and is not brokerage, legal, tax or financial advice unless separately agreed in writing. Review anything generated before relying on it or publishing it.

The platform links to and relies on third-party services such as mapping, property data and messaging. Stelo does not control them and is not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Stelo does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any estimate is accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stelo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost opportunity. Stelo's total liability for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Stelo in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stelo and its officers, employees and agents from claims and costs arising out of your content, your use of the platform, or your breach of these terms or of applicable law.

You may stop using the platform at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or if we must do so for legal or security reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and Stelo agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California, and each of us waives any objection to venue there.

We may update these terms and will post the revision on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept it.
